The Rev. Roy Tuff grew up a northern Minnesota Lutheran and married Maria, a southern Minnesota Catholic in 1985. The couple made their way to Naples, FL with the family newspaper business in 1988. Father Roy’s love of sacred choral music ultimately brought the family of five (with children Allison, Krista, and Ryan) to the Episcopal Church in 1994.
 
He entered the Diocesan discernment process for ordination in 1997, earned a B.A. from Florida Gulf Coast University in May of 2000, and received his M.Div. from The School of Theology at the University of the South in May 2003. Since seminary he served as Chaplain at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School and assisted at Christ Church in Bradenton, where he was ordained a priest in 2003. The culmination of these years of formation has led to discerning this call as Rector of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Schools, in Punta Gorda FL
