Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Thank you to all that joined us last Thursday at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Our day was a sucsess, thanks in large part to Home Depot, for showing up with supplies and man power to get our project started. We spent the afternoon painting the tires that were donated from Reynoso Tire. We all got a little messy and had a ton of fun doing so. The tires are now ready to plant in. Please feel free to join us next Thursday September 19th for planting.

Planting Day

Today we begin planting. So make sure you come in your gardening clothes (NO UNIFORM). Thank you again to Home Depot for suppling the children with plants and seeds to work with.
Fruits of Our Labors

Our Garden is growing and our first plants are beggining to produce. We have cucumbers, lettuce, peas, carrots, and peppers. The children are experimenting with different oils to repel insects and learning how to compost. Today the 4/5 Grade class was able to harvest enough to have a salad for snack! Stop by and see our progress!
